Junior Research Fellow Position Available
 in Research Institute for a Project Funded
 by DST 

SRM University - Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Applications are invited for the position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Department of Science and Technology (DST) Fast-Track, Govt. of India sponsored research project titled ‘A Cell-based System for High throughput Screening of Nrf2 Activators and its role in Protecting Pancreatic β-cell Apoptosis’.

Fellowship: Rs 16,000 plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) per month fixed for first year and Rs 18,000 plus HRA per month fixed for the second year. Terms and conditions will be followed as per the DST guidelines.

Duration: 2 years.

Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences, M.Tech Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering

Experience in animal cell culture technique and animal handling is desirable.
