Junior Research Fellow:

Applications on plain paper are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for DST sponsored Research Project entitled “Biotechnological approaches for improving rice crop productivity for salineregions of Punjab”. The project is tenable up to one year and further extension of one and half years is contingent to progress of the work.

1. Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Life sciences/ Biotechnology with at least 55% marks.

2. The candidate with M.Sc. (LS-NET) qualification or M. Tech (Biotechnology) will be paid Rs. 12000/p.m + HRA while candidate with JRF-NET will be paid Rs. 16000/p.m + HRA.

3. Desirable: Prior knowledge of microbial culturing, molecular biology and cloning is mandatory.
