Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Advt. No. 33. Date: 11/01/2013.
A walk –in- interview will be held on 29th January, 2013 at 10.30 a.m. at office of the Director, Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) to select a Junior Research fellow (JRF) for an ICMR, Govt. of India sponsored project entitled “Exploration of Actinomycetes in soil of protected forest areas of Assam for antioxidant activity and its potential application against bacterial and fungal pathogens” in the
Molecular and Microbial Biotechnology Laboratory, Life Sciences Division, IASST.
Qualification Required:
i. M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences (specialization in Microbiology) from recognized university/institute with minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 (out of 10)
CPI.
ii. M.Sc. degree holders in above mentioned subjects who have qualified in the CSIR/UGC or ICMR/PGI National Entrance Test (NET) or CSIR/UGC NET and have a valid certificate will be preferred.
Fellowship: As per Indian Council of Medical Research, Govt. of India/ IASST, Guwahati rules.
The Age Limit is 30 years as on 15th January, 2013. Age relaxation as per Govt. rule shall be applicable.
