Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Create incisive market intelligence documents on companies, markets, and life science sector that can be leveraged by senior executives for their short, mid and long-term business planning using advanced research skills
·         Develop and implement strategic thought leadership reports, whitepapers and blog/email content that helps companies under the future of healthcare, potential scenarios and business cases
·         Supplement research findings on drug trials, development of new pharmaceutical compounds & preclinical testing and build recommendations / conclusions for the project
·         Research on new products, processes, medicines, equipments (i.e., medical devices) techniques and practices to create Pricing & Market Access and Real World Evidence reports
·         Writing original articles based on research findings on trending topics in the Life Sciences industry for email campaigns/ blogs
·         Present findings in comprehensive power point, word, or excel formats
Educational Qualifications (mandatory):
·         Master’s Degree / Post Graduation in Molecular Biology / Microbiology / Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ B.Pharm/ M.Pharm OR at least two years of experience working with the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals/ Medical Products/ Medical coding industry
·         A theoretical understanding of biosciences (biochemistry, biotechnology), molecular/ micro biology, and basic concepts on clinical pharmacology (i.e., understand how drugs interact with biological systems, undertaking in vitro research or in vivo research, drug/ equipment discovery and development, analyse and interpret clinical trial reports, medical devices performance reviews)
Preferred skills:
·         Candidates with good academic credentials are preferred or should have at least two years of experience working on Life Sciences industry
·         Experience in industry analysis, in-depth company analysis, benchmarking, financial modelling, point of views, competitive intelligence, strategy formulation etc
·         Well organized and disciplined with regards policy, procedure and standards
·         Ability to set priorities and be flexible in a changing environment
·         Effective time management
·         Ability to deal with complex and demanding issues
·         Self-motivated with the ability to deliver consistently
·         Proficient in both Written and Spoken English
